The newly established company, Laurenz V. (Laurenz Five), was named after one of the founding partners, Laurenz Maria Moser the fifth, the grandson of legendary Austrian wine pioneer Lenz Moser lll. Laurenz V. pays respect to the legacy of Lenz Moser lll, or Grandpa Gruner, who almost single handedly helped Gruner Veltliner become Austrias signature
