1948 Original Serigraph Norwegian Floral Scroll Chest Art Historical DAW1 XEC4 "Bobsledding in Montreal" This isThis is an original 1948 four color serigraph of a Norwegian decorative floral scroll motif that was used on a Norwegian chest (owned by E. B. Trimpey of Baraboo, Wisconsin). The chest and its decorations were brought to Wisconsin in the 1850s and was originally owned by the Olsen family near Elroy, Wisconsin. Period Paper has obtained an interesting and rare collection of serigraphs (a silk screen process) deaccessioned from a major Wisconsin library
