1897 Wood Engraving Charles Keene Art Lavinia Brounjones Sketch Artist Ram XAY6 XAG8 CharlemagneThis is an original 1897 black and white wood engraving of Miss Lavinia Brounjones interrupted by the chaos of a runaway ram during her sketch of the model for "The Flocks" in her picture of "Cattle Lifting." The Brounjones series was one of the only Keene ever had published in Punch, which effectively illustrated his method of crafting a story. The original piece was featured in the British magazine in 1866. CONDITION This 114+ year old Item is rated
