I found this one the coast of New Hampshire just yesterday

as the growing season comes into swing

Really great looking just as an object

Serious Young Man: Sixth Plate Cased Daguerreotype of Boy with Books schoolgirl drawing and much of the tailI immediately fell in love with the seriousness of expression on this young man's face, which I read not as discontentment, but rather as great focus and ambition; really he looks to me as if preparing to rule the world! I am guessing the two books at right are most likely the bible printed in two volumes, so perhaps it is the fear of god rather than ambition that drives him and makes him look so sober! Whatever the case, perhaps the perfect gift for
