Burned into the center of its belly on the underside are the initials JRH

20" x 16" and in great condition

despite glue oozing out here and there in what was surely a tremendously tedious and frustrating process

There are initials stamped on both the front and back of the brass caliper

A really good face I think, especially his snout, and a little wood left unpainted at the center of his eyes to perfect effect. 8 1 8" t x 6 7 8" w and in good condition. There is a little roughness along the edge of the left ear; it doesn't look to me like any wood lost, just a little loss of the black paint.
