Head measures 1 3/4" wide x 2" tall x 1 5/8" deep

I find this second grader's drawing from 1945 really pretty touching--I'd guess created while his father was on leave from WWII

Lovely Antique Carved Cherry and Horn Pie Crimper folk art penguin Another example of an InuitI love an old pie crimper, and the super clean, elegant lines of the handle on this one, carved of cherry I believe, completely sold me on it. Based on the form I might guess earlier than later 19th c. With a carved horn wheel. 5 1 8 l. 5 8 wide and deep handle. 1 1 2 wheel. Very good condition, with a couple of tiny holes in the horn along the perimeter of the wheel, which does not impact smooth rolling. The wood is gorgeous.
