Not one thing more or less than exactly right I think, with a wonderful painterliness to the body of the very cat like cat animating it with lots of life, and just a few strokes of china blue turning the bowl, too, into something special. Really quite an elegant feeling little painting as well as a charmingly naive one, likely done by a school child. I
