The Kanji characters give the year 昭 十 九 or Showa 19

- Gray - Green Paint (Post War are OD Green)- Metal Grommets around Liner Drawstring with Z-stitch in rear- Brown Leather liner with Orange felt padding (post war has yellow leather and felt)- Leather Grey-Green chin strap (post war was canvas)- Liner Chinstrap Mounting Ring is Rectangular (post war was trapezoidal)- Small vent holes with flattened tops

This is a heavily worn display set of M1943 Double Buckle Service boots in worn condition. They are mismatched but close sizes 7 B & 7 C, and will look fine for display. Both boots are in service worn condition with heavy wear to the russet finish. They both have similar wear and are in fair shape. They both retain their shoelaces, though they are very weak and broken as shown. The soles of both shoes are worn down
