Description

altogether making for a great mixed set

with a lot of years on him

squarely wrapped in what was once I imagine bright red

with a mix of greens almost obscuring some red and gold underneath

This delicate ink and ink wash drawing of two hanging deer was done on the back of the title page of a 1898 copy of the The Strand Magazine

Row of Anchored Sailboats, Lovely Old Oil on Canvas Board Painting, Signed iron finials altogether making for a greatI just thought think this a lovely painting, which my photos do no justice. Oil on canvas board, found in Maine and signed in the bottom left corner, looks like J. G Sandien or similar. With a color punch and impressionistic painterliness to the grasses in the foreground and to the boats and water, too best understood through details (and hard to capture well in photos white trying to balance with the softer, slightly pinkish sky.) Feels like late day
