meaning this maker had two offices

on the front of the holster are loops for five Very signals and a pouch to contain the shoulder strap when it is not in use

the hilt in is plaited brass wire bound and the pommel bears a lion's head which is all that remains from the formidable hilt

some might be post war (Korea and early Vietnam)
