The planter is glazed a lovely variegated mossy green

I'm not entirely sure what objects they represent--I'm guessing the one that looks like a jar is actually the glass cover on a lamp or lantern

and compared to most of these one finds

and evincing a soul poised to be lifted to heaven

But this is a nice old real one, probably tucked inside a painter's box to be used en plein air, with the colors on it just right for capturing a landscapes. Some paint and what I take for oil stain on the reverse side too. Lovely. 10" x 7", very nice presumed antique condition, late
