Wonderful Mounted Photograph of Regal Looking Young Performer c. 1920s d.m. & co The texts on the backI love this photograph so much for the make shift nature of the costume, with brown paper shield bearing a hand drawn fleur de lys and peter pan looking boots, but especially for the way this regal and poised young woman seems to transcend it, looking like a true reincarnation of Joan of Arc! Perfect shadows, perfect grainy backdrop, and to my eye so evocative a real heroine! 7 9 16 x 9 1 2 photo; 10 x 14 as mounted. Good condition, hand signed what
