Terrific Old Handmade Red White and Blue Knit Sock Doll Canton porcelain box CA potter (1916-1991) who createdLove at first sight with this guy, made by someone a hundred years ago or so with a great aesthetic sensibility I think! Perfect choice of buttons for his wide eyes, and great red yarn nose and mouth, with interesting braid like stitching for the mouth.
