British 1890 Khaki Pitch Helemt ERA The use of an Armorer'sNew made Khaki British Military Pith Helmets introduced in the late 19th century to coordinate with the "new" khaki uniforms, replacing the old Red tunics which made such easy targets and had been obsoleted. Principally first used in the Sudanese Campaign and the Boer War these were not issued for combat purposes. Complete with leather chin strap.
