AFI "Very Proud of Ya" soul / funk " vocalist Jeremy Bolm saysFormed in Ukiah, CA circa 1991, hardcore punk band AFI honed its sound during its tenure with Nitro Records, making their label debut with 1996's Very Proud of Ya followed by Answer That and Stay Fashionable (re release, 1997), and Shut Your Mouth And Open Your Eyes in 1997. Other releases include, the now classic, Black Sails In The Sunset (1999) and The Art Of Drowning (2000). 1996's Very Proud of Ya served as AFI's second full length release
