This is a lovely Stamped Steel WWII Production "9 slot" Grille from a Ford GPW "Jeep", with an intact radiator deflector on the interior. The original design made by Willys for the MB had a 13 slot grill made from bent and welded steel slats, which was heavy and expensive to produce. When Ford tooled up for making the GPW, they went with the much improved 9 slot stamped steel type, which Willys then adopted as well. The
