This is a very nice condition German WWII Luftwaffe Kopfhaube (Helmet Hood), model FK34. These flight helmets were usually intended for the flight crews of bombers, as they did not have any communications equipment. However they were able to use the goggles, so they were sometimes used by pilots as well when supplies were low. This helmet is made of a olive fabric, most likely cotton, with a purple faux silk rayon
