This is a fantastic example of a post WWII Korean War era M1 M2 cut away carbine training aid. These were used in class rooms to identify the individual parts of the weapon and demonstrate the cycling functioning of the carbine. This model is approximately 71 3 4 inches long and is made of a balsa wood stock and forearm with aluminum action parts and stamped aluminum magazine with plastic dummy rounds. A great
