This is a gorgeous and unique example of a War of 1812 Period Mounted Dragoon belly box, in fantastic condition and still retaining its original securing strap, as well as the original tin flute dividers inside, with 12 slots for paper cartridges. The box measures 8 x 3 x 1, and retains both of its original leather belt loops, although one of them is coming close to breaking. The leather of the box has aged correctly for
