This is a lovely example of a badge that would have been worn by a Company Grade Officer, most likely a Lieutenant in charge of a Company. The badge is stamped aluminum and has an interesting construction with a swiveling brass keeper that would be secured by a pin. The badge features a brass 5 pointed star on an oval background which appears to be sun rays in design. Around the outside of the star is a wreath with a
