river and sky actually made me think immediately of the paintings of Thomas Hart Benton and John Steuart Curry (apt as I found this en route to Kansas City) to come many years later

Sweet Little Robin in Winter Painting, Oil with Glitter Snow on Board slatted stool and very charmingA little one, but a sweet one, with this this little bird, which I take for a Robin, seeming like a beacon of spring hopefulness amid a snowy landscape. There is some sparkle to the snow from paint or a clear coat with some white flakes suspended in it like glitter. 4 1 4" x 2 1 2" and in very good condition, on cardboard art board. I'd guess earlyish 20th c.
