SOLD Wonderful Old Carved Black Dog with Great Face maze I'd just set it on

I'd just set it on a shelf or use it as a paperweight

and feel supremely tender and very very human

but I've found it a bit of a challenge first to decipher and then to translate

I would definitely be inclined to cut out at least a handful of these pages to frame

SOLD Wonderful Old Carved Black Dog with Great Face maze I'd just set it onAs sweet an old carved dog as I think I've had, nose to tail, and I'm a bit loathe to part with this one. The eyes seem to me to be inlaid nails though it's a bit hard to tell; definitely they're just right for this very empathetic (and very truly dog like) face, whatever the case. Wonderfully carved long ears and stub tail, all stained black but for the pink nose. Really a charmer, I'd guess 1920s 30s or so. 5 1 2" l x 3 11 16" t x 1 3 8" w. Very
