The slide lid fits tight but slides out all the way with just a little pressue

but I might try to find a special little book stand to display it on

and a knot in the wood showing through

Forever True, Little Romer & Co.Brass Heart-ish Shaped Lock (No Key) bottle cap by Maria FalconarA second little lock today, this one, brass, heart shaped, and forever locked (no key, though probably wouldn't be too hard to pick!) I thought would make a sweet valentine for a true love. And small enough to string and wear as a pendant, too. 1 7 8" t x 1 1 8" w and in good antique condition, great patina to the old brass. Made by Romer & Co, c. late 19th century.
