Someone recently honored him by making a stand for him

with the vertical stripes of the refrigerator exterior perfectly complemented by the vertical ones of the postal cancellations

From what I understand these were often part of a wedding dowry

with general light wear and tiny loss at lower left corner

Lovely Pair of 19th Century Treen Boxes with Paint Decorated, Threaded Lids antique magic lantern A relatively humble but singularThese I am fairly certain are British, hand painted blonde wood, with threaded tops, mid 19th century or perhaps a bit earlier I believe. Lovely things, in lovely condition, useful for all sorts of things. Each 1 3 4" d x 1 3 4" t. Sold as a pair. A few small nicks around the bottom edges of the tops and general light wear; overall very good condition.
