Dangling Grapes, Mother with Child, Very Finely Painted c. 1850s Watercolor on Card PET pick 7” w on squareMaybe not exactly my typical style, but this (and a second by the same maker listed separately) is amazing hard to understand scale from photos, but it took me getting out a magnifier to confirm it as a watercolor rather than a print, so finely and precisely executed. Perhaps there were once four of them, representing the four seasons? This mother, dangling grapes just out of reach of her child, a bounty of fruit beside her, seems to suggest summer,
