Very Lovely 1939-40 French Sewing Samples Notebook in Wonderful Hand-sewn Cover carved wooden cicada It appears that the reverseA lovely French sewing samples notebook, which I'm more inclined to call a folio for this beautiful green waxed paper wrap, with neat stitching in white thread along all edges, and flap closure on the front, reading 1939 40 along the strip the tongue of the flap threads through. It's that waxy green wrap that especially does it for me the color softly faded on the exterior while almost emerald inside elevating the whole thing into feeling like a
