The festival was one of Eastern Europe's most important jazz events, bringing international sounds and serious modernist style to the city. Henryk Tomaszewski turns the trumpet into a playful cut paper construction, set against an irresistible dusty pink field. Loose lettering billows from the bell like a cloud of smoke and music. Bright, witty
