This is a very nice example of a No. 5 MkI "Mills Bomb" Grenade. This is the first version of the "Mills Bomb" produced, and was one of the standard grenade used by British forces during WWI. This example is missing the spoon and bar completely, but retains the pull ring and spring loaded ignition on the interior. Unloaded or dummy grenades, artillery shell casings, and similar devices, which are cut or drilled in an
