This is a very good condition, turn of the century pickelhaube style German Fire helmet, with a boiled leather body, German silver front plate (wappen), German Silver central comb, and brass & German Silver fittings. Central plate has a shield with the the ancestral and core coat of arms of Nassau, which formed the heart shield of the greater coat of arms. It is almost identical to the coat of arms of the Netherlands
