George Washington, Presumed Antique Chromolithograph with Over Glazing bag of jacks This is a lovely old

This is a lovely old ladle or dipper made in two parts

and seeing it painted over and over and in lush red paint against white on this great old box is to my eye about as satisfying as it gets

from mid to later 19th century

all with red roofs and a nice range of color

8" tall x 6 1/2" wide (with dress spread flat)

George Washington, Presumed Antique Chromolithograph with Over Glazing bag of jacks This is a lovely oldI believe this is a chromolithograph that was given a painterly varnish or similar, lending it the appearance of a painting, and making this George Washington seem as if he's been hanging around for a very long time. (I do think this is at least a hundred years old.) Though certainly flawed, as we are all, I'm feeling pretty nostalgic about our founding fathers right about now, and thought it good to have a George near at hand. 7 3 4 x 5 5 8 and in
