Sophisticated Kid Made Cut Paper Abstraction #2, Purple Construction Paper ink and watercolor study Many are loose but allthey struck (strike) me as quite sophisticated things, feeling as much like formal studies by an accomplished modern artist of the early mid 20th century as by the work of children. (Hung on the wall in a museum, I would easily believe this was a sketch in advance of a sculpture done by, say, Hans Arp!) Crisp, elegant, and with the softening fading to the color of the purple construction paper enhancing a sense of timelessness really a very lovely and
