This is a magnificent display gun built from excellent WWII Thompson M-1928 parts and reassembled with a fantastic non-functioning new made anodized aluminum display receiver

Overall length is 9 3/4 inches with a 5 1/4 inch blade

the squadron was moved from their row of tents into one of the new wooden barracks which they had helped to erect

This is what looks to be the top half, and we have no way of knowing whether it simply broke at some point, or
