The banded design around the shoulders of the bottle was done at a bit of a tilt

but the backs are all blank

I think likely the former--a genie in a box--but am not completely sure as I can't find another example out there like it

plus tracking the effort it takes for the mother to put dinner on the table

This may be my favorite lacquered box I've had--and I've gathered a fair number of lacquer boxes

But indeed there is a Napier mark on the tip of the tail, and I know from a little research that it dates to the 1930s or so. The silver plate is in very good condition and polished up easily (and will likely polish up a little more), with just a few minor spots. The jigger holds 1 oz, with a measure mark on one
