Marvelous Antique Puppet with Carved, Painted Wooden Head on Post pocket signal disk perhaps the heads of aI've always got an eye out for great puppets, but rarely come across one I like as much as this guy, I'm guessing from a Punch and Judy set, early 20th century or so. What a beauty of a face, with this prominent nose, open mouth, and huge eyes, looking a mix of surprised and anxious, as if about to have to fend off something or someone! His carved wooden head is attached to a wooden post, which is covered by his hand sewn outfit, terminating in
