This is a great example of a Pre WWII Austrian badge awarded to qualified Aviation Mechanics, as indicated by the shield bearing a gear. The badge is marked on the reverse F. PETZL WIEN 15. The vertical clasp is still well retained and working fine. The enamel of the wreath and shield are very well retained, and the eagle looks great. A great example, ready for further research and display.
