but clean and bright

and mounted to another piece of  construction paper

Classic Arts and Crafts style in color and form

mostly in one area on the right side lower edge of the front

Ever Satisfying and Useful Nesting and Stacking Cubes, c. 1930s-40s, Set of Five folk painted panel They both have the first-glanceI am forever looking for these but it is a rare day that I turn up a good set and this is the first set I've ever had where the boxes are sized scaled to nest at graduated heights, so they make this terrific looking stepped rainbow pyramid when arranged one inside the next. I'd be inclined to set them that way and leave them alone, but they're great ones for stacking and using as pedestals for other things too, with plenty of wear but not much paint
