This is an extremely scarce example of a Civil War rifle sling. The sling measures 44 long and will make a fantastic addition to your Civil War rifle or musket. The sling still retains its "running" keeper loop and its "fixed" loop to one end. The other end has a brass hook designed to slot into one of the slings' central holes running down much of its length. A fantastic sling ready for further research and display!
