All of the stitches are holding tight and the backing is in great shape too

A hanger (wire might be best) could be added to the back for hanging

and for me it doesn't get much better than the blue and red combinations on this 19th century needlepoint pouch--I can't decide which side I like best

The piece is in excellent condition

and I love the relative simplicity of the cat

Finely Hand Crocheted Drawstring Pouch antique printing block All of the stitches areI know from the seller that this very finely crocheted bag came out of an old estate in Pennsylvania, and though it is in near perfect condition, I am pretty certain it is 100 years old or so, and definitely it was all hand done. I think the colors and patterning as well as the shape of it, with pointy tip at the bottom are just terrific, plus that pink border with tiny knots along the top. With a nice long drawstring, I believe original to it, too.
