and the 26th Division HQ was moved up to Chamigny

Fitted with a single edged spear point blade, this is an original fighting knife, as used by the Germans in WWI and then again in WWII. In nice used condition, this knife has a ribbed wooden grip secured by two rivets. Grip scales are in good condition, with no cracks or major chips, and a nice color. As with most of the examples we have seen with grooved grips, the knife has an "S" shaped cross guard, while most
