Plenty of wear and scattered toning and stains all over and beginning at page 17 (I don't believe the earlier pages were ever bound under this cover) but in overall good condition

a smear to the paint on the stool at right (I'd guess original to it)

fashioned of old crate wood showing a stenciled tea label on the underside of the top lid

I purchased this beautifully beaded ball at an antique show in Maine

which reads Letter suit ('letter to follow') on the front

(The branches extend nearly seven inches from the wall, so it is a real perch!) I just immediately fell in love with the bird, really wonderfully carved and painted (better in person), and then quite unusual in my experience to find one with such an elaborate wall mount as this, painted to evoke just the sort of moody, deciduous forest where Cerulean
