It is very crisp and is fitted (in 1895) with the latest bayonet catch of the day

and fraternal markings to identify which group the owner belongs to which is RLM for Regular Masonic Jurisdictions

The left rear of the receiver has the correct BREN Mk I marking, and the very back of the receiver is marked with serial
