The hackamore combination is a cheekpiece with leverage and gives pressure on the nose, chin and in the mouth. The longer the shanks of the hackamore the stronger the effect. This combination with long shanks has a sharper effect than the hackamore combi short. These bits are often used with very enthusiastic horses in the ring. Because of the leverage effect this is a quite sharp bit and
