Erotic Fruit! C. Early 20th C.Asian Porcelain Orange Box with Lovers Inside produce stand 7 3/4" t x 2"How to resist? I've found antique Chinese and Japanese erotic porcelain figures of a similar nature out there, mostly sold at auction, but I haven't found anther couple housed inside an orange, and a terrific orange at that! Early 20th century, and I think Chinese, though I've found similar couples listed as both Chinese and Japanese. Pretty great modeling of their bodies, with just the right hand painted details!
