This is an extremely rare experimental helmet designed by Dr. Lombard in 1948 1949 and was a precursor to the TopTex helmet. This example has been retrofitted with a later P 3 Style Visor. It has also been custom painted gold and reads across the back: PROPERTY OF NORTHROP AIRCRAFT INC And M. L. GREEN above the visor. Please note that the foam under the leather inside the liner is very fragile and some loss (powder) of
