This is a very nice unissued example of German WWII Kuban Bridgehead Shield, with a metal shield attached to field gray wool Heer (Army) cloth backing. The wool is in great shape, with just a bit of fading, and no mothing. The rear paper backing is complete with minor tears, and has a great aged look.
