The front cover shows the doppelte Siegrune (Double Sig Victory Rune) over Soldbuch zugleich Personalausweis (Pay Book and Identity Card). It features his photograph on the inside front cover, which has two Waffen stamps, which give a partial unit designation as well: I. Pz. Gren. Rgt. 1 Pzz Gren. Div. Hitl. The rest is
