Here we have a very nice Italian flintlock pistol of overcoat size. The rear portion of the steel barrel is fluted and clearly marked L. LAZARINO, for maker Lazaro Lazarino. The lock is also marked by maker G. Banchi. The pistol was made in the gun making region of Brescia, Italy between 1790 and 1800. The pistol features all steel mounts beautifully embossed and carved in relief, with the hardwood stock also
