which looks to still have some of the original blued finish on the barrel

but we have seen other examples in this configuration

using wartime pistols as models and new engineering drawings and machine tools

This is a lovely WWII era cigarette case made with genuine leather and a patent date of 1940. The front of the case is embossed with the EGA insignia of the Marine Corps with their motto, Semper Fidelis. The case measures 3 x 4 x . The patent date on the GENUINE LEATHER tag on the interior shows a date of October 22nd, 1940 when we looked it up online. A great example, ready for further research and display.
