I especially love how the splints were turned over the top edge and woven back down such that their pointed ends are visible on the exterior

But with a little research I've learned that the Rosse who signed the underside was Jerry Rosse

Young Men, Half Submerged, Barely There Antique RPPC easter eggs rarer to findLots of photos I really love this week many of them purchased at the Photographic Historical Society of New England's annual Photographica sale last weekend in Newton, MA, this real photo postcard among them. Super ethereal, but with the faces and bodies of these young men quite clear as they emerge from the water, with beautiful ripples to the surface right around them too. Very poetic feeling, but also with a bit of a Lord of the Flies aspect to it
