The box shows some wear and tape on the sides but is structurally in great shape

which appears to have covered an earlier coat of dark red

with a series of rooms across two levels

Satisfying Brass/Bronze Nugget Form Paper Weight seashore FriendshipI really don't know a thing about how this came to be, but I find it quite a satisfying thing, and it makes a very nice sculptural paperweight. Great feel in the hand, too. Based on the color, I believe it is likely bronze rather than brass, but am not 100% certain. I would guess artist made, but there is no mark I can see. 2 1 16" w x 1 1 8" d x 13 16" t and weighs about 5 ounces.
